Hanoverian Inspection and Show

Parkwood Stables is the 2010 host farm for the "Canadian Hanoverian Breeders Club of Western Ontario" Inspection and Show. The Mare Performance Test takes place on Friday Sept.17th starting at 1:00pm Mare Show and Inspections will be Sat. Sept. 18th at 9:00am and the Foal Show/Inspection after a hosted lunch. Visitors are welcome. Please join us to view top dressage, hunter and jumper prospects.

Congratulations to Romantica, her owner Donna Macfarlane, and rider Inga Hamilton on their great performance. Four red ribbons and two Championships at the Caledon Dressage Gold 1st level Show in Orangeville, August 7th/8th. This continues Romanticas unbeaten streak to 10 tests. It is a pleasure to have a trio (Inga, Donna and Romantica) of this caliber at Parkwood Stables. More info on our "Horses for Sale" page.

Gold Show Researve Champion for Parkwoods St.Pr. Haya

Haya took part in the Caledon Gold Show in Orangeville on August 7th/8th taking a 1st place ribbon each day. We were pleased to see Haya with her rider Inga Hamilton take Reserve Champion Open Class at training level for the two day event. Also, Haya's embryo transfer foal Bingley by Belissimo M from this year, is looking very promising and we are looking forward to showing him in the September Hanoverian Foal Show.

Faulkner Girls do it again!

Georgie, riding "Rotherwood Penny Bit" took Champion in the Novice Hunter division at Brightwater Farm on July 14th. Emma, riding "Pollyanna" took the Reserve Championchip. This adds to several Championship ribbons that the girls have won this summer. The Faulkner twins are our youngest riders at Parkwood Stables and they are trained and coached by their mother Jane. WAY TO GO!!

We would like to introduce Bingley, our first embryo transfer foal at Parkwood Stables. Bingley is by Belissimo M and out of our State Premium Mare Haya. Haya is a Hochadel/Silvio mare and we are delighted with her first effort in motherhood.Thank you to Dr. Claire Plante for making this possible.
